Hi everyone, today I’m sharing how to make a Pikachu cake topper. My youngest loves Pokémon and has been wanting me to make Pikachu for a while now. I hope you like him and that some of you find the tutorial useful. The video tutorial is below, but first I will just talk you through what I used to make him. As usual, you will find a list of all the items I used, at the bottom of this post.

My Pikachu cake topper is made with Smart Flex Modelling Paste. I use white paste and coloured it yellow using a food colouring gel. I also used tiny pieces of brown, red and pink and black modelling paste.

The eyes are made from small black sugar pearls. You could use small balls of black modelling paste if you prefer. I just find the sugar pearls easier, as they keep their shape.
