How To Make The Poppy’s Petals

Rolled out red modelling paste

Roll out some red modelling paste and cut out two circles.

Use the circle cutter to cut about a quarter off the shape of one circle.

Next, use the circle cutter to cut half away from the other circle.

Using a knife, cut a further piece off both shapes, leaving a flat side.

You should now have two similar shapes, one slightly smaller than the other. Neaten and curve the edges with your fingers.

Marking lines of red modelling paste

I used a flower leaf shaper tool to emboss lines all around the outside of the petals.
