Hi everyone, today I’m excited to show you how to make these unicorn cupcakes! In this post, I show you just how easy it is to make unicorn horn and ears cupcake toppers. I love unicorn cupcakes and I never tire of making them! My daughter never tires either…she’s obsessed with unicorns!

To make them I used white Renshaw Flower and Modelling Paste. As I wanted to paint the horn silver, I coloured it grey first. I find that this acts as a good base. To colour it I used Sugarflair Graphite food colouring paste. To colour the inner ear pink I used PME Hot Pink food colouring paste.

Piping Tips I Used

I used a JEM 35 tip to pipe the buttercream stars around the edge of the cupcake . To pipe the buttercream swirl in the middle, I used a Wilton 1M.

Cake Sprinkles

So the cake sprinkles that I used are from Harrision’s Sprinkles. The mix is called ‘Cosmic Sky’ and I love them! They are so beautiful and they taste good too! If you would like to take a closer look, then click here.
